Memory

This series demonstrates the delicate interplay between painting and drawing with sumi ink and graphite on paper. As a process-oriented painter, my goal was to create a visual language that feels both fluid and precise.

Inspired by the silent film era of the 1920s, each piece in the series evokes a sense of nostalgia. My intention is for viewers to engage with the mysterious and evocative imagery, connecting with a sense of forgotten folklore or fairy tales. Each work serves as a visual narrative, encouraging the imagination to construct stories and meanings that resonate with personal and collective memories.
